JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will work closely with the Sports Marketing Team to execute the local business strategy in line with the global brand guidelines.

Their primary responsibility will be to the Oakley brand, but they will also oversee projects covering Costa Del Mar and support with Bliz. They will work across all product categories including eyewear, goggles, helmets, apparel, lenses, and accessories.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

Reporting into the Oakley Business Brand Manager , the candidate will support in planning and developing brand marketing and activation plans including:

  • Updating the Oakley SharePoint for the salesforce and marketing team

  • Produce weekly brand/product updates for the sales and marketing teams

  • Organising campaign assets on Dropbox to be shared with the Trade marketing team and customers

  • Support in collecting and consolidating product feedback for global product teams across all categories

  • Full management of In-season Available to purchase lists, End of Line lists and the Final Buy Plan Process

  • Supporting with Trade Marketing budgets and invoicing processes

  • Supporting in ordering and planning the delivery of apparel, helmet and goggles to the sales reps and showrooms

  • Managment of showroom visual merchandising. Working with the trade marketing team to update artwork. Working with the sales team to dress the showroom with new collection and packing down old samples

  • Assisting with the production behind brand events: including training events, trade conferences, promotional events

  • Sharing product shots and product descriptions with sales team

  • Catalogue ordering, shipment and delivery processes

  • Supporting with translations for digital communications

  • Delivery and management of staff discount vouchers

  • Support with sponsorship product orders

  • Oakley ICON Programme – management of customer list and tracking performance

  • Updating the Oakley team lists and key responsibilities

  • Assisting with ad-hoc administration duties for the marketing department as required

NETWORK OF INTERACTION:

INTERNAL : Contact will involve many stakeholders. They will be expected to have a close working relationship with sales and Marketing teams including the Oakley Brand Manager and Sport Channel Sales Director. They will communicate daily with the independent and key account sales teams as well as marketing functions

EXTERNAL : Close contact to customers in region defined by the Oakley Business Brand Manager.

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)

  • Excellent computer literacy with a good understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Be educated to degree-level

  • Be proficient in Microsoft packages

  • Have demonstrable organizational skills

  • Have excellent spoken and written English

  • Have a demonstrable interest in Marketing

HOURS AND ENVIRONMENT

The normal working hours will be 8.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, you may need to work longer when necessary and on weekends.
