GENERAL FUNCTION

Responsible for leading the development and implementation of the North America Indirect Procurement strategies related to Marketing spend, leading sourcing activities and ensuring the programs are aligned with global and regional program objectives. This position will manage individuals within Indirect Procurement providing guidance and direction on matters within the category as well managing their own projects driving cost efficiency for marketing spend. This position will serve as a leader in the company's efforts to maintain an effective system of internal controls.

This position will monitor developments related to their respective field, actively pursue knowledge, familiarize with design development, and use information to accurately make timely decisions as well as contribute to the decision-making process by logically presenting ideas to decision makers.

The candidate should demonstrate experience in one or more of the following categories as part of Indirect Procurement: Performance Marketing, Digital Marketing, Activations, Events, Trades & Fairs, Public Relations, Consultants, Promotional Material, Visual Merchandising, Trade Marketing, E-Commerce.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead strategy development, including strategy coordination for related categories.

  • Execute cost savings projects for major programs.

  • Category Management which includes policy creation/management, updating, identifying, and implementing demand management programs, internal communications of category initiatives and reporting of results.

  • Meet several department KPIs & monitors teams progresses, including, but not limited to, cost savings, customer satisfaction and spend under management.

  • Owns contract negotiation and implementation.

  • Supplier Management and continuous evaluation/assessment of supplier performance, ensuring consistency of service, quality and compliance to contracts and established service level agreements.

  • Ability to build and simplify financial reports for determining status and action for programs managed.

  • Supervise category spend and continuously evaluate options to reduce total cost.

  • Lead benchmarking of internal and external costs against industry and competitive standards

  • Build and foster strategic supplier relationships.

  • Lead projects and work cross functionally with regional/global teams

  • Partners and collaborate with all levels of management in all regions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain, finance, or applicable technical degree

  • 8+ years’ experience in procurement or related function

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the fundamentals of procurement

  • Leadership experience in sourcing

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, flexible with ability to work to tight deadlines.

​Pay Range: 166,160.80 - 219685.2

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
