GENERAL FUNCTION

The Media Director leads the media strategy and tactical market media planning/buying measurement and performance for LensCrafters, Antoine Laoun, and Retail Optical LATAM to deliver effective marketing communications plans that drive media ROI, brand equity, traffic, and sales.

This role is the key media lead across all media channels including internal and external agency partners (media planning/buying, creative, SEM), with daily interactions with senior marketing executives across all brands and Corporate HQ office in Milan. This role provides insight and recommendations of changing media landscape across all offline and online channels (especially in Digital – display, SEM, social, video, display and programmatic).

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and collaborate with brand marketing team in development of media campaign briefs and corresponding media objectives/KPIs

  • Maintains accountability for the quality, strategy, and integrity of all media plans/strategies/services delivered.

  • Lead creation, implementation, optimization, and measurement of integrated media strategies, in collaboration with agency partners & direct vendors

  • Develop media plans based on the business and media objectives in partnership with agency and specialty teams. Test new formats, tactics, and solutions

  • Evaluation of plan strategies, channel mix, tactical details, executional reports as well as validation of assets and units

  • Manage media agencies planning and buying of all media spaces - guaranteeing media costs optimization and performance against objectives and KPIs

  • Responsible for coordination of process flow management with key internal stakeholders and agency partners for campaign set up and execution

  • Lead reporting of the campaigns and develop the KPIs to measure performance

  • Leverage Marketing Mix Modeling and/or attribution modeling to identify optimization opportunities and action plan.

  • Lead internal & external meetings, including presenting updates/strategies to leadership and executive teams

  • Collaborate across various departments, including Marketing, Ecommerce/Performance Marketing, Social, CRM, etc.

  • Adapt media presentations and reporting for local/global marketing teams and EL leadership teams

  • Support media financial resource in budget management and invoice reconciliation

  • Support the Sr Media Director in coordinating and developing the team and managing up to the VP Global Media to ensure seamless communication across the business

  • Help drive organizational change, digital/data transformation, and acceleration

  • Build media culture within marketing and digital teams - providing media support and trainings

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 10+ years of experience in media, marketing or related field

  • Competency on all media channels (digital, OOH, TV, radio, etc.) and ability to evaluate media plans against strategy as well as strength

  • Strong project management skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to translate information to various stakeholders

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Self-starter attitude with a global mindset & ability to work both autonomously and proactively

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex media plan/executions as well as a complex global organization structure

  • Understanding of media research tools/models

​Pay Range: 163,548.00 - 240,311.20

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
