Our Commercial Analysts play a crucial role in shaping strategic decisions within our commercial department. By leveraging internal performance metrics, you will provide actionable insights and recommendations and your expertise will be essential in identifying growth opportunities, optimizing pricing strategies, and boosting overall profitability within EssilorLuxottica. The commercial finance role is unique as it is truly cross functional role – you'll have the opportunity to act as an influencer, liaison and source of advice across all aspects of the business.

Requirements for Success:

  • Prepare and maintain a structured weekly and monthly reporting to promote a thorough discussion of the previous week results and KPIs.

  • Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators like sales, brand/ category performancesto assess the effectiveness of commercial strategies.

  • Identify areas of improvement and recommend actionable solutions to optimize performance

  • Maintain daily sales reporting to support our Sales teams to achieve the best performances.

  • Develop sales forecasts based on data and current trends to anticipate and give guidelines to your stakeholders

  • Play a key role in challenging business partners to maximise ROI

  • Collaborate with sales & marketing to align on commercial strategies with overall business goals

  • Partner with commercial leadership to develop strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in commercial analytics

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field

  • Proven experience in commercial analysis, financial analysis, or a related role within the consumer goods industry

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to a range of different stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for accuracy and problem-solving

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to evolving business priorities.
